Prevention
Good oral hygiene is essential for your overall health as well as your appearance. Poor oral hygiene can cause a variety of not only dental problems (such as gum disease, infection and bone loss) but medical problems as well. including heart disease, strokes and more. That is why regular checkups and cleaning is necessary to prevent these problems as well as provide you with healthy oral hygiene.
ViziLite Plus Oral Cancer Screening
Most people are surprised to learn that one American dies every hour from oral cancer. Oral cancer is one of the most curable diseases when it's caught early. That's why the ViziLite Plus exam has been developed. ViziLite Plus uses technology that has proven successful in identifying soft tissue abnormalities in other areas of the body. A ViziLite Plus exam is particularly important if you are at increased risk for developing oral cancer. Oral Cancer screening is recommended for all of our patients.
Zoom Whitening
Your smile is important. It's one of the first things you notice when you meet someone. A whiter, brighter smile is beautiful - it can help you feel better about yourself and make a memorable impression
Your lifestyle and the aging process can stain and darken your teeth. Many things we do on a regular basis can contribute to stained teeth, such as drinking coffee, tea, cola and red wine or smoking.
Whitening can get your smile looking its best. Non-professional procedures and clinically unproven teeth whitening tips can often lead to unsatisfactory results, you should look for a whitening procedure that is:
- Fast and convenient
- Long lasting
- Low sensitivity
- Proven to be safe and effective
- Performed by a Dental Professional
Bruxism
Bruxism is a condition in which you
grind, gnash or clench your teeth. If you have bruxism, you may
unconsciously clench your teeth together during the day or grind them
at night, which is called sleep bruxism.
Bruxism may be
mild and may not even require treatment. However, it can be frequent
and severe enough to lead to jaw disorders, headaches, damaged teeth
and other problems. We recommend that during our examinations that all
of our patients be examined for Bruxism so that it can be caught in its
early stages an treated.
